Xinyao Workshops @ Chinatown Library

Intune Music instructors were at Chinatown Library on 17th May 2014, Saturday 2pm-3pm, as well as 25 May 2014, Sunday 2pm-3pm, to conduct a Xinyao workshop. They shared about the progression of Singaporean music and how it is evolving till the current day. 


These workshops were part of a 3-part series featuring local music and Xinyao compositions. Directors Mr Peng Chi Sheng and Mr Aaron Lim were part of the group of performers, which included local songwriter Derrick Tham as well as guest singer Bevlyn Khoo.

PAssionArts Festival 2014 - Wow @ The Park! on 25th May 2014

Intune Music instructors and performers were at Tiong Bahru Park to conduct free workshops and lessons, as part of the PAssionArts Festival 2014! This event was entitled "Wow @ The Park!", and it attracted many residents in the area to come by to have a taste of various art forms, including dance, music and also chinese music.

Intune Music was invited to provide 3 music booths in the Music Zone for this carnival, providing participants with a taster lesson on how to play the Ukulele, Acoustic guitar as well as iPad Garageband! 

MP Lawrence Wong also graced this event and took pictures with our instructors and performers! 

The participants had lots of fun, and our instructors and performers also enjoyed themselves thoroughly! There were also few participants who stayed with us for the 3-4 hours we were there, and mastered a pop song on Acoustic Guitar on the spot at the Carnival.
