Lakeside Family Services Singing Lessons!

It is never too old to learn something new! The seniors are attending Choral Singing under Kaki Kampong Seniors Wellness Centre (KKSWC) conducted by Intune Music Vocal Instructor, Tay Sia Yeun (郑夏韵) ,  which is a programme of Lakeside Family Services. 

We hope the seniors will understand more on singing after the 10 lessons and also to put up a simple singing performance at the end of the 10 lessons programme.

Lakeside Family Services' Kaki Kampong Senior Wellness serves seniors aged 55 and above in Jurong East, Jurong West and Taman Jurong. They help them achieve the six wellness dimensions; Physical, Financial, Intellectual, Emotional, Social and Spiritual Wellness.

Lakeside Family Services (LFS) was established in 1993 as one of the early Family Service Centres in Singapore. LFS provide highly subsidised and quality services to underprivileged children, youths, families and elderly, regardless of race, language or religion.

Chung Cheng High School (Yishun) Mandarin Songwriting Competition Music Video Filming

We are filming the music video  for the winning song in Chung Cheng High School (Yishun) Mandarin Songwriting Competition 【Our Chung Cheng, Our Songs】!

This year is the 3rd year that we have collaborated with Chung Cheng High School (Yishun)  and provided this valuable learning experience to the students! 

This is an partnership with Intune Music, where the winning song from the Mandarin Songwriting lessons conducted by Intune Music, will be professionally recorded and produced and the song will be filmed locally by  Express Oh Photography and Film  !

Through these workshops, music production and music video filming, students from the Chung Cheng High School (Yishun)  benefited from gaining the valuable experiences and knowledge in a full music production from writing the songs and eventually able to have their song being filmed as a music video!

Deyi Secondary School Music Video Fliming!

The Music Video Filming of the N6 Cluster Songwriting Competition winning song from Deyi Secondary School begins! 

Mr Patrick Poh from Express Oh Photography and Film  went over to Deyi Secondary School to direct the actors, actresses, singers, composers and lyricist! 

This is an partnership with Intune Music, where the winning song from N6 Cluster's Songwriting Workshops conducted by Intune Music, will be professionally recorded and produced and the song will be filmed locally by  Express Oh Photography and Film  !

Through these workshops, music production and music video filming, students from the N6 Clusters benefited from gaining the valuable experiences and knowledge in a full music production from writing the songs and eventually able to have their song being filmed as a music video!

Nan Hua Primary School Xinyao (新谣) Appreciation Programme

Xinyao (新谣) Appreciation Programme at Nan Hua Primary School! 

Intune Music Instructors,  Derrick Tham 譚志華,  Joanne Teo Zuo En 張祚恩, Tay Sia Yeun 郑夏韵, Lee Ting Hui and local artiste, Drake Lim 文强, together with Intune Music Director, Peng Chi Sheng 冯启胜 were at Nan Hua Primary School and they presented Xinyao (新谣) Appreciation Programme in a fun and interesting skit and also song performances! 

The student from Nan Hua Primary School was given an in-depth understanding of Xinyao (新谣)'s origins and its rise and fading in popularity. 

The objective of this programme is to educate and share with the younger generation that Xinyao (新谣) is an unique and an important part of Singapore's mandarin music history. 

It also is to inspire them to like the mandarin language more by making it more interesting and engaging when music is incorporated into the presentation!
