Xinyao Workshops @ Chinatown Library

Intune Music instructors were at Chinatown Library on 17th May 2014, Saturday 2pm-3pm, as well as 25 May 2014, Sunday 2pm-3pm, to conduct a Xinyao workshop. They shared about the progression of Singaporean music and how it is evolving till the current day. 


These workshops were part of a 3-part series featuring local music and Xinyao compositions. Directors Mr Peng Chi Sheng and Mr Aaron Lim were part of the group of performers, which included local songwriter Derrick Tham as well as guest singer Bevlyn Khoo.

PAssionArts Festival 2014 - Wow @ The Park! on 25th May 2014

Intune Music instructors and performers were at Tiong Bahru Park to conduct free workshops and lessons, as part of the PAssionArts Festival 2014! This event was entitled "Wow @ The Park!", and it attracted many residents in the area to come by to have a taste of various art forms, including dance, music and also chinese music.

Intune Music was invited to provide 3 music booths in the Music Zone for this carnival, providing participants with a taster lesson on how to play the Ukulele, Acoustic guitar as well as iPad Garageband! 

MP Lawrence Wong also graced this event and took pictures with our instructors and performers! 

The participants had lots of fun, and our instructors and performers also enjoyed themselves thoroughly! There were also few participants who stayed with us for the 3-4 hours we were there, and mastered a pop song on Acoustic Guitar on the spot at the Carnival.

iPad Workshop @ Marine Parade Library on 26 March 2014

Intune Music instructor Mr.Evan Liao was present at Marine Parade Library on 26th March 2014 to conduct iPad workshop to the participants.

The iPad Band Lessons were conducted for a 2nd time at national library, this time at the Marine Parade Library, for a group of 6-8 music enthusiasts. They will go through a series of 6 lessons for the iPad Garageband software, teaching them the basic of digital music making, with the final session including mini showcase for their friends  and family members!

Mix the beat! iPad workshop

Intune Music instructor Mr. Guo Qiang Fu and Mr. Peh Kong Wee were present at Bukit Batok Public Library on 17th March 2014, Monday 3-5pm and Bukit Merah Library on 20th March 2014, Thursday 3-5pm to conduct a music-making workshop for Parent-Child pairs.

Participants will learn the basics of music creation using the iPad app, Garageband, and add audio effects by manipulating the music!

Ukulele Workshop @ Givaudan By Travis from Intune Music

 March 13th, 2014

 Intune Music Instructor Travis conducted a Basic Ukulele Workshop for the staff of Givaudan Singapore on 11 March Tuesday 2014.

It was a fun and engaging workshop with many of the participants learning the ukulele for the first time. Intune Music provided all 25 ukuleles for the participants, and at the end of the 2 hour session, they could play up to 4 pop songs! And these were complete beginners at the start of the lesson!
