Dunman High School 's National Day Programme "Sing Our Way Home 我爱我国"

Together, Artistic Director of The Etceteras (海燕等人) Lim Hai YenIntune Music Director, local songwriter and pianist, Peng Chi Sheng, and  Local Singer "Sound of My Dream 梦想的声音 2016" contestant Tay Sia Yeun 郑夏韵, shared their earlier growing up years in Singapore which provided the environment and impetus to discover and realise their potential in their artistic careers in creating original local content in various forms like plays, lyrics, melodies, music videos and many others.

Naval Base Primary School "母语双周" Xin Yao (新谣) Sing-along Workshop and Xinyao Lyrics Re-Writing Cultural Camp

Intune Music Director, Peng Chi Sheng with instructors, Hui Shan, Sia Yeun, Ting Hui and Zuo En conducted a 7 hour  母语双周 Xinyao Sing along Workshops for  Naval Base Primary students from Primary 1 to 6 and also a 3 hours Xinyao Lyrics Re-Writing Cultural Camp for Primary 4 students

Yale - NUS College Ukulele Workshop

Intune Music Instructors, Benny, Sin Sek Jhia and Tay Sia Yeun conducted a team building workshop for the staff at Yale-NUS College!


The participants were grouped into small groups after our lead instructor, Benny, went through the basics of the chords and ukulele playing techniques. Then after, our instructors will head to their assigned groups and continue teaching to achieve a more effective learning!

With this arrangement, it will encourage peer learning and hence improve the cohesiveness of participants through ukulele playing!

North View Primary School Mandarin Xin Yao ( 新谣 ) Appreciation Workshop

Intune Music Director, Mr Peng Chi Sheng and Intune Music instructors, Derrick Tham, Pek Si Ming, Teo Zuo En and Ting hui conducted a Mandarin Xin Yao ( 新谣 ) Appreciation Workshop at North View Primary School in July 2018! 












At this workshop, we have taught the younger generation of North View Primary on the appreciation of  新谣 (Xin Yao)! 


 新谣 (Xin Yao) is a very important aspect in Singapore Music culture and the rich history makes it very unique to Singaporeans! We hope that after our workshop, the students in North View Primary get a better appreciation of 新谣 (Xin Yao) and able carry the culture, knowledge and spirit in the future!

Pei Ying Primary School Lyric Rewriting and Xin Yao ( 新谣 ) Sing Along Workshop !

Intune Music completed yet another lyric rewriting and  新谣 (Xin Yao )Workshop! This time at Pei Ying Primary School! 

This workshop is conducted by Intune Music Director, Peng Chi Sheng, and instructors, Derrick Tham, Lee Ting Hui and Tay Sia Yeun in July! 2018! 






At this workshop, we have taught the younger generation on the essence of  新谣 (Xin Yao ) which is part of an important music culture in Singapore! 

Also through the lyric rewriting workshop, we provide them the know-how and technicality of writing lyrics over an existing melody. This provide the students with space for much creativity and to also expand their knowledge in both language and music. 

We hope that Pei Ying Primary School students will be next Dr. Liang Wern Fook and carry on with the culture of 新谣 (Xin Yao ) that is essential in Singapore music scene in the future!

Children Cancer Foundation Singapore: Ukulele and Songwriting Workshop!

Intune Music Instructor, Sin Sek Jhia, conducted an Ukulele and Songwriting workshop for the beneficiaries of Children Cancer Foundation! 

 




Children's Cancer Foundation (CCF) is a non-profit organisation with a mission to improve the quality of life of children with cancer and their families and children impacted by cancer through enhancing their emotional, social and medical well-being.

Founded in 1992, CCF provides children with cancer and their families the much needed support in their battle against the life threatening illness. Over the years, CCF has helped close to 3000 children and their families at different stages of the illness.
