12 hours of Mandarin Songwriting Workshops at CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School !

7 Mandarin Originals are composed within 12 hours of Chinese Songwriting Workshop in span of 2 days! 

Intune Music Director Peng Chi Sheng （冯启胜）and Intune Music Instructor, Tay Sia Yeun (郑夏韵) conducted a 2 days Mandarin Songwriting workshop for the primary 5 students in CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School! 

Intune Music has been always encouraging the younger generation in getting in touch with their potential in their music side. With workshops like this, it will help them to know about essence of songwriting and that they can actually express their thoughts, emotions and feeling through music!

N6 Cluster Songwriting Workshop at SNGS!

Intune Music Instructor, 譚志華 Derrick Tham and Sin Sek Jhia conducted a series of songwriting workshops to the primary schools in the N6 Cluster at CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls' School!

We have always encouraging the younger generation to explore their interest in music and we hope that through music, they will be able to learn about themselves better and be able to express themselves better through music.

Deyi Secondary School Songwriting Workshop

Winner for N6 Cluster Secondary 2019 Songwriting Workshop is Deyi Secondary School! 

After 8 hours of Songwriting workshop in the N6 Cluster conducted by  Intune Music Director Peng Chi Sheng （冯启胜）and Intune Music Songwriting Instructor, 譚志華 Derrick Tham, the winning song is from Deyi Secondary School with a interesting song title, 《华文歌》.

The students will have their voices recorded in a professional recording studio setting and also filmed as a music video too!

CHIJ SNGS Mandarin Songwriting Workshop!

Intune Music Songwriting Instructor, 譚志華 Derrick Tham teaching Mandarin songwriting at CHIJ SNGS to Secondary 1 students and this is Intune Music's 6th year conducting this course for them!

Students attend lessons in songwriting, lyrics writing, and they also take part in a songwriting competition in their own school ! The winning song gets their very own music video produced for them, with music arrangement and recording provided by Intune Music!

Westwood Secondary School Pop Vocal and Ukulele Workshop

Instructors from Intune Music went down to Westwood Secondary School to conduct lessons in pop singing as well as ukulele playing. Vocal Instructors 林思彤 Lin Si Tong  and 白詩敏  Pek Si Ming coaches students in the finer points of pop vocals, while Ukulele instructors Deomar and 郑夏韵 Tay Sia Yeun  helped students find joy in ukulele playing, teaching them many up to date songs using a few simple chords!

Customised Handouts are also given to the students to enhance their learning in both workshops so that they are able to have better understanding in Pop Vocal Singing and Ukulele Playing!

Chung Cheng High School (Yishun) Songwriting Workshops for "Our Chung Cheng Our Song 2019" Songwriting Competition

Intune Music Instructor, Sin Sek Jhia, conducted a series of songwriting workshops for the students of Chung Cheng High School (Yishun) in preparation for their "Our Chung Cheng Our Song 2019" songwriting competition!

The students will compose their own songs, do their own music arrangement for their song demos and also write their songs and the chosen song will be professionally arranged and produced by Intune Music! Also a music video will be produced for the chosen song too!

This is part of Learning for Life Programme! The Learning for Life Programme (LLP) implemented by MOE focusses on the affective aspect of students’ development. An LLP in the Arts typically involves self-discovery, character-building, honing of values, development of social-emotional skills, and learning of values through real-life arts activities.

This consistent exposure and engagement in the Arts over the course of 4 or 5 years helps students to “unleash their human spirit, to find purpose, and to learn to live a good life.”
