Local Indie Artiste Session at Ang Mo Kio National Library on the 29 November 2015

On 29th November 2015, Intune Music Director, Aaron Lim, and renowned Songwriter, Derrick Tham, arrived at Ang Mo Kio's National Library for Local Indie Artiste Session with the community! It was definitely nice to reach out to the community! 

Derrick Tham shared his experience and tips in song writing in the regional music market and showed some video of the songs that he has sold to the regional artistes. 

Did you know Derrick had written songs for the singer Sam Lee such as,《最近》 (Recently), 《擦肩而過》 (Passer-By), 《靠近》 (So Close), 《 明白》(Realize) and many more?

Both Intune Music Director, Aaron Lim, and Songwriter, Derrick Tham, talk about their years of collaboration and the benefits of this collaboration! 

Aaron Lim also shared his experience of being a local artiste and how he successfully launched his EP in September 2004 and the journey since then. 

Aaron Lim sang some of the songs from his EP with Derrick Tham on the Keyboard.

Intune Music will always be willing and happy to reach out to the community and we hope we can inspire more individual into explore their interest!

10 Schoolyard Assembly Seminar !

We have successfully conducted 10 Schoolyard Assembly Seminar organized by COMPASS and produced by Intune Music​ at Swiss Cottage Secondary, Cedar Girls, Victoria Sec, Westwood Sec, Crescent Girls' School , Broadrick Sec, St Andrew Sec, Hwa Chong Institution​. Tanjong Katong Sec and Regent Sec.

Hope we are able to inspire more youths to be future songwriters and think twice before downloading free music online.

Dunearn Secondary School Ukulele Workshop on 21 October 2015

On 21 October, Thursday, Intune Music School’s instructors, Mr. Deomar, Mr. Evan Liao and Ms. Jax arrived enthusiastically at Dunearn Secondary School at 8am to conduct a 3 hour Ukulele Workshop! It was definitely a very enjoyable and productive workshop!

Another talented and versatile instructor from Intune Music, Mr. Evan Liao, actively andwholeheartedly coaching the Dunearn students the fun and joy of playing a ukulele! 

One of our approachable instructors, Ms. Jax, actively engaging the Dunearn students and teaching the techniques of playing the ukulele effectively!

After 3 hours, this educational and fruitful ukulele workshop in Dunearn Secondary School is a success and we hope that the students have enjoyed the workshop as much as our instructors did!

Customised ICT music, lyrics and songwriting for MOE and SPED schools like Pathlight in Singapore!

Intune Music Director Chi Sheng, together with instructors Claron, Jax, Si Ming and Evan Liao have been teaching at Pathlight School since early 2015. 

The lessons taught include music and movement, Ukulele and even iPad music too!

All of us will certainly miss the students when the year end holiday period comes. It has been such a fun experience for all instructors teaching here at Pathlight, and we do hope to be able to see all of them next year for music and movement, iPad music as well as Ukulele lessons again!!

Intune Music in Chung Cheng High (Yishun) Learning for Life Programme(LLP)!

Intune Music instructors are proud to have been given the opportunity to conduct music lessons at Chung Cheng High (Yishun) as part of a new initiative entitled 'Learning for Life Programme (LLP)' 

This programme was divided into 2 tiers. 

For the Tier 1 programme, the entire level of Secondary One students were given a series of songwriting, lyrics writing, music arrangement as well as pop vocal lessons in order to motivate and inspire them to be able to write songs with Mandarin lyrics. Some allowance was given for the non-chinese students to write their song lyrics in English as well.

For the Tier 2 programme, selected Sec 2 and Sec 3 students were given intensive lessons in songwriting, lyrics writing, music arrangement and vocal training, and their songs were then recorded into a finished product, using the equipment provided at Intune Music's in-house recording room!

The students had an enriching experience this past year, and they thoroughly enjoyed their lessons as well as the recording session at our school!
