Shuqun Secondary School Ukulele Workshop on 28 May 2015

On 28 May, Thursday, Intune Music School’s instructors, Mr. Deomar, Mr. Kongwee, Ms. Si Ming, Mr. Travis and Ms. Zhi Hui arrived eagerly at Shuqun Secondary School to conduct a Ukulele workshop for the Secondary 2 students as part of their post examination activities.


Ms. Zhi Hui strummed on the ukulele while one of the students sang in front of her classmates.



And it appears that she was enjoying the jamming session with Ms. Zhi Hui

He definitely got their undivided attention in learning the ukulele.

Mr. Kongwee, enthusiastically and passionately, guided the students through the chords.

Mr. Travis, patiently, taught the students through the essence of playing the ukulele.

The students, actively and attentively, followed Ms. Si Ming’s lesson on reading the chords

After 2 sessions of 1 ½ hours from 9am to 1230pm, this educational and productive ukulele workshop in Shuqun Secondary School for the Secondary 2 students is a success and we hope that the students have enjoyed the workshop as much as our instructors did!

Tanjong Katong Secondary School Ukulele Workshop

On a lively and cheerful Tuesday (26 May), Intune Music School's instructors, Jax and Emil, went to Tanjong Katong Secondary School to impart their passion in Ukulele onto 40 secondary 3 students.


Our instructors, Ms. Jax (in black shirt) and Mr. Emil (in blue shirt) actively and gleefully demonstrating to the students of how to play songs such as Jason Mraz’s I’m Yours, OneRepublic’s Counting Stars and other songs on the ukulele.


The students paying a lot of attention onto our instructors’ coaching and enjoying how to play the ukulele.



Ms. Jax (on the Cajón) and Mr. Emil (on Ukulele) enthusiastically performing for the students and showing the enjoyment of playing music. 

We would thank Tanjong Katong Secondary School’s students for being attentive in the workshop and we hope that the students had a great time with our instructors.

UniSIM Ukulele Workshop

On 23 May, a joyful and blissful Saturday afternoon, our very own Intune Music Director Mr. Aaron Lim Wei Kian with our music instructors, Mr. Fu Guo Qiang and Mr. Joel Lum arrived at UniSIM for a 3 hours Ukulele workshop.



The workshop of 40 students is split into groups to aid efficient and effective peer learning.

Peer teaching and learning in full effect

The individual groups demonstrate what they have learnt from the instructors and their peers. Songs played and taught includes, Bruno Mars’s Just The Way You Are and many others. 




After the 3 hours of enriching, enjoyable and delightful activites and learning, the workshop is a success! We certainly hope that the 40 students of UniSIM gain knowledge about ukulele and most importantly, enjoyed the learning process!

Micron Shared Service Centre Ukulele Teambuilding Workshop

On 21st May, Thursday, 13 lovely participants from Micron Shared Service Centre arrived at Intune Music School for their Ukulele Team Building workshop.


Our very own Intune Music Instructor, Mr. Sin Sek Jhia, personally and passionately, conducted the workshop with much enthusiasm.

with smiles and laughters!
